Where is MISSA & KISSA based?
MISSA & KISSA is based in Edinburgh, UK. Created in 2021 by our founder Cecilia Lai, we're grateful to be working in the beautiful capital of Scotland. Read more about our story.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
You can find a selection of our pieces at Scottish Design Exchange in Edinburgh. We also occasionally pop up at markets and events (follow us on Instagram for the latest updates)
Our studio on Easter Road is by appointment only, but you're always welcome to reach out if you'd like to visit!
Jewellery & Packaging
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic (sensitive skin friendly)?
Yes! We make sure our jewellery is nickel-free, which is the culprit of most jewellery allergies. However, in the very rare case you're allergic to other metals (i.e. silver or gold), our jewellery might not be a good fit. If you're not sure, please reach out to us - we're happy to help!
Can I shower with my jewellery?
For gold filled pieces - yes. They are water-resistant - just try not to put the soap directly on them. Do keep them away from water, perfumes, and lotions though.
Anything that is gold plated, with gemstones or freshwater pearls should not be in contact with water and any chemicals mentioned above.
I can't find the jewellery I want
Since we often create our collections in limited runs, each piece feels extra special and personal. If you've spotted something at our pop-up or on social media but canāt find it on the website, or if an item is out of stock - reach out to us! Let us know where & when you saw it and if you have a picture, even better!
Do you take custom orders?
We do - depending on what you have in mind. Fully custom pieces take around 8 weeks, but if itās something small (like adjusting the length, changing a clasp, or swapping a charm), itāll likely be much quicker. A small deposit might be required for custom pieces.
If itās something we canāt help with, weāll gladly point you to one of our lovely maker friends who can.
What packaging do you use?
Since day one, weāve designed our packaging to feel special without creating waste. All our packaging is either reusable, recycled or recyclable!
Every jewellery order comes with a complimentary jewellery pouch - ready for gifting or keeping.
Most orders are packed in slim postal boxes that fit straight through your letterbox, so you wonāt have to wait around for delivery.
Do you have gift packaging?
Compliementary gift notes can be added at checkout and are beautifully handwritten by our team.
Gift bags are also available to purchase if you'd like to add a finishing touch.
Shipping & Delivery
Will I receive an order confirmation?
When you place an online order with us, an automatic order confirmation will be sent to your email address. If you have not received one, please check your junk and spam folders, or contact us.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Your order will ship in 1 - 3 business days, usually on the shorter side. During busy periods, our processing time will be increased due to the increased volume of orders.
After being dispatched (you'll get an email):
- UK orders should arrive within 3 business days
- EU orders should arrive in 7 - 14 days
- International orders should arrive in 10 - 25 business days
Just a heads up: once the package is with the courier, we canāt take responsibility for any delays or mishaps, but weāll do our best to assist you if issues arise.
Can I track my order?
Yesss! For UK orders, we provide tracked delivery with Royal Mail.
International orders can be shipped with standard or tracked delivery, depending on your choice at checkout (we recommend opting for tracked for peace of mind).
Once your order is on its way, youāll receive a notification along with tracking information so you can follow its journey!Ā

Are taxes included in your prices for international orders?
Depending on the total value of your order and your countryās regulations, local import duties might apply before your delivery reaches you.
These fees are determined by local authorities and are out of our control. Every country has its own rules, so itās a good idea to check beforehand to avoid any surprises!
If the parcel makes its way back to us, any original shipping cost (plus return fees, if charged) will be deducted from your refund.
Can I update my order/address?
If you entered the wrong address at the time of placing your order or would like to amend the items in your order, please email us immediately with your order number.
We will always do our best to help our customers but we can't guarantee that it'll be changed. We try to work on our orders as soon as they're in so if the order has already been dispatched (tracking number issued), we won't be able to make any changes.
Please ensure that all information provided is correct at checkout as we are not liable to replace or resend any parcels due to incorrect shipping address.
Returns & Exchange
What's your return policy?
We want you to love every piece you receive.
We do our best to go above and beyond for every customer, and we genuinely hope your order exceeds expectations. But if it doesnāt, weāll do our very best to make it right. Just reach out.
You can return your purchase within 30 days, as long as itās unworn and in its original condition and packaging.
Please note: weāre unable to accept returns on sale items, earrings (for hygiene reasons), or made-to-order pieces, gift packaging. For full details and how to return, head to ourĀ return pageĀ
Can I exchange my jewellery?
Yesss! If you'd like to exchange something for a different colour or size, we'll treat it like a return. You can place a new order for the item you'd like to receive in exchange. Weāre unable to guarantee the jewellery youād like to exchange for will be in stock, but of course happy to advise!Ā
Process and conditions will be the same as Return.
Something's not right with my jewellery/order
If youāre reading this because somethingās gone wrong - first of all, weāre really sorry. We genuinely pride ourselves on quality and service. In the unlikely event that somethingās slipped through, weāll make it right.
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include the details (i.e. order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos). Weāll fix or replace it as soon as possible.
I lost one earring, can you help?
Unfortunately, weāre not able to offer refunds or replacements for lost items.
If youāve lost just one earring, please get in touch - we might be able to offer a single piece so you donāt have to purchase the full pair again.
