We're thrilled to announce that we're looking for 2 committed and reliable individuals to join our MISSA & KISSA team as Sales Associates for the upcoming festive season. You'll be working 3 - 5 days a week with the possibility to continue in 2024.
WHO ARE WE?
MISSA & KISSA is a young jewellery brand based in Edinburgh. Founded in 2021 with a simple aim: to provide high-quality, personal jewellery pieces that are safe for sensitive skin. Through our collections, we strive to make a difference, from offering reasonably priced pieces without compromising quality to using sustainable packaging and supporting causes we deeply believe in.

In just over two years, we've experienced remarkable growth, including highly successful pop-ups and a shared shop on Rose St. We're honoured to have recently been recognized as the Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year in a prestigious national award within the jewellery industry! 🏆

Your To-Do List:
- Extend a warm welcome to every customer, providing friendly and professional assistance
- Engage attentively with customers to personalize their shopping experience and assist in finding the perfect jewellery piece
- Ensure the store remains impeccably organised and inviting, down to the finest details that reflect the essence of our brand
- Uphold our brand's aesthetic by maintaining in-store displays at the highest standard 💯
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking & regular counts
- Handle customer purchases with precision, ensuring accurate sales records
- Collaborate with our dedicated team to not just meet, but break those sales record (and get rewarded for it 💪), while enhancing our brand presence
- Prioritize Quality: Before any piece of jewellery leaves our hands, conduct a thorough inspection to meet our rigorous standards
What We're Looking For 📝
- Prior experience in retail or hospitality is essential, although specific jewellery sales experience is not required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person & online
- Proactive in identifying gaps in the customer experience & suggesting improvements
- Comfortable with asking questions and seeking clarification to meet high standard
- Superb organizational skills and meticulous attention to details
- Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Passion for jewellery and a willingness to learn
Nice to have:
- Interest or experience in marketing, especially social media knowledge and content creation
- A basic understanding of e-commerce platforms is beneficial
Note: We won’t ask you to craft jewellery, but hey, you’ll learn a thing or two about it!
Schedule: 3-5 days per week (at least one weekend day) from October 23 to January 7. We offer flexibility in terms of dates and times
Location: Central Edinburgh
Compensation: £11 per hour + Bonuses that you’ll absolutely deserve
